Should you use Perfect Cubes now?
Most new players should wait. Perfect Cubes are more valuable after your squad has a stable carry, a boss unit, and a clear trait plan. If the tier list is still shifting or you are still missing core roles, saving is usually better than gambling.
| Use case | Decision | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary early unit | Save | The unit may leave your squad quickly. |
| Confirmed long-term carry | Consider | A better roll can improve many future clears. |
| Boss wall | Consider after testing | Only spend if the cube solves the actual failure point. |
| Unknown new banner | Wait | Launch-week balance and unit availability can change quickly. |
Perfect Cube rule
A Perfect Cube should improve a unit you already know you will keep using. If you are using it just because you received one from a code, you are probably spending too early.
Questions before spending
- Is this unit still in your squad after several game modes?
- Does the cube improve a role you actually need, such as boss DPS or wave clear?
- Have you already handled cheaper upgrades with Gold or normal rerolls?
- Would saving the Perfect Cube help more when a stronger banner appears?
If two answers are unclear, wait. Perfect Cubes are easier to spend than replace, and a cautious player can always use one later after the Anime Squadron tier list and unit roles are more stable.
